MEET RACHAEL

As a classically trained, Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, Rachael has a passion for incorporating contemporary concepts, mobility work, and therapeutic protocol into her teaching.

Rachael has been described professionally as someone who can “make friends with a brick wall” and “motivate a slug to run a marathon”, and it is exactly that energy that she brings to each of her sessions. Dynamic, creative, encouraging and deeply passionate about helping others, Rachael has always been active and athletic (despite a love for nachos).

Rachael’s interest in health began during her time at Chapman University in Southern California. As the only non pre-med student in her school’s chapter of Global Medical Brigades, Rachael volunteered at pop-up clinics in Central America.

After graduation, Rachael began her corporate career in the wellness space. Years of intense travel in sales led to the physical burn-out that first brought her into a Pilates studio. In 2013, Rachael left the corporate world for full-time fitness and has been living her passion every day since.

Rachael has experience working with all populations with clients ranging from athletes to octogenarians. With a heart especially for her pre and postnatal clients, Rachael shares her passion and knowledge in this space as a Pilates for Pregnancy continuing education provider for the National Pilates Certification Program. Rachael is deeply committed to continual growth as a Pilates teacher.

When she is not totally immersed in Pilates, Rachael loves to spend as much time as she can with family and friends. She enjoys a hot cup(s) of coffee, juggling a wildly energetic toddler and her sweet and funny kindergartener, and occasionally getting really dressed up.
